Environmental Commissioner releases Annual Energy Conservation Progress Report Volume One - an analysis of progress on energy conservation activities in the province.

Ontario's Environmental Commissioner, Gord Miller, will submit his report on the activities in Ontario to reduce or make more efficient use of electricity, natural gas, propane, oil and transportation fuels to the Ontario Legislature.

The Commissioner's report includes a summary of Ontario's current energy consumption trends, provides an overview of energy conservation activities in 2009, and includes recommendations for improvement. The development of this document is pursuant to the changes to the Commissioner's mandate under the Green Energy and Green Economy Act, 2009.
