Green Energy Doors Open (GEDO) is a showcase of sustainable energy projects and success stories from around Ontario. GEDO17 runs from September 22-24 across Ontario, with a special Ottawa regional program from September 30-October 1st. This is an excellent opportunity for Ontarians to learn about the many innovative green energy technologies that exist in their communities.

Already more than 100 host sites across Ontario are registered on the GEDO17 website.  Some locations and projects include:

  • In Sarnia, you can visit Lambton Energy Research Centre-Smart House demonstration centre, featuring geothermal and solar technology
